Places to go... from the big screen!

I loved this post when Diane Writes did it.. and I just had to borrow it. Have you seen her blog? Here's a link! She's fantastic!

I love that movies always have such beautiful scenes.. and they take you to places that you may not have been able to go without the movies.  Some of my favorite movies and scenes are:

Eat, Pray, Love 2010

My favorite scenes center around the main character, Liz, meeting the Brazilian man! The scenery she passes while bike riding before he nearly hits her on that little path is gorgeous!! Also, I absolutely love the house she stayed in at that time of the movie.. and his house as well! They are so open and spacious and I'd LOVE to have a house like that someday...

Though my next movie is a cartoon, I have ALWAYS wanted to visit Rio. I even took a class in Portuguese during college. It was just simple convo things, but I absolutely love the language! Oi! Tudo Bem?

I LOVE the movie Amelia... about Amelia Earhart. I have ALWAYS loved Amelia and have always wanted to fly the route that she took during her journey around the world.  I'd love to go to her museum.. and go to her birth place in Kansas (it's a museum now!)

If you have any dreams like this, you should do some research and see what you can come up with!! I'm sure there are museums, trips, or even movies about some things that you love that you could further explore!! Come on, dear! :D You can do it! The possibilities are unlimited! 

and.. the last thing I've thought of is... Battle of the Smithsonian:

This movie makes me want to go to the Smithsonian even more than I wanted to before!

There are tons of other movies I have loved, but these are a few favorites for now!! I may do a post like this every once in a while to add a few more! :)
